Terms of use

In short: play as much as you like, it is free, and we say honestly what the game is not.

Updated .

1. The game is free

Pixy Pony can be opened and played for free, as many times as you like. We charge nothing for the game or for any part of it: there is no shop, no subscription, no paid in-game currency and no paid features.

We never ask for payment and never send invoices. If you have seen someone charging money for Pixy Pony, that is not us.

2. The game is provided “as is”

We build the game carefully and test it on a range of devices, but we cannot promise that it works perfectly everywhere. The game is provided “as is”, without warranties: it may stutter on a weak device, look different in another browser, and a save may disappear if the browser clears the site data.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, we accept no liability for any inconvenience, loss of game progress or other consequences of using the game. Game progress is not an asset we undertake to preserve: it is simply a set of marks in the browser on your device.

The game works offline, so even if the site were ever to become unavailable, the copy already saved on the device would keep opening.

3. This is not a medical or educational tool

Pixy Pony is entertainment. The game is not intended for medical, diagnostic or therapeutic purposes: it does not assess a child’s development, does not detect any conditions and is not a substitute for working with a specialist.

A child may pick up letters and numbers along the way — we are glad of that, but the game is not a certified educational programme and does not replace school, kindergarten or lessons with a teacher.

The screen-time advice on the For parents page is a friendly opinion, not a medical prescription. For questions about health, eyesight, sleep and screen time, consult a doctor.

4. An adult keeps an eye on the child

The game is intended for children aged 5 and up, and it assumes that the decision to allow play is made by a parent or another legal guardian. We deliberately made the game safe: it has no purchases, no chat, no ads and no outside links — but the choice of device, timing and setting remains with the adult.

5. What you may and may not do with the game

The rights to the game, its code, its artwork, its music and its characters belong to the authors of Pixy Pony.

6. Third-party trademarks

Pixy Pony is an independent fan-made game. It is not connected with and in no way affiliated with Hasbro or its My Little Pony / Friendship Is Magic series. The game is not created, sponsored, endorsed or reviewed by that company.

All names, brands and trademarks mentioned belong to their respective owners. Where such names appear in texts about the game, they are used for description only and do not imply any connection with their owners.

If anything in the game resembles something that already exists, that is an artistic coincidence within the shared theme of ponies and fizzy drinks, not a reproduction of someone else’s work.

If you are a rights holder and believe we are doing something wrong, write to us at hello@pixypony.com. We reply quickly and would much rather fix things than argue.

7. Changes to these terms

If the terms change, we will update this page and the date at the top. The promise stays the same: the game is free, ad-free, and collects no data about children.
